Listen, open your ears, harness your desire to speak, and don’t get worked up into a rage so easily, my brothers and sisters.
Father God, we thank You because You will not disappoint anyone who places their trust in You.
Yes, the Scriptures say, “Anyone who trusts in Him will never be disappointed.” It says this because there is no difference between those who are Jews and those who are not. The same Lord is the Lord of all people. And He richly blesses everyone who looks to Him for help. Yes, “everyone who trusts in the Lord will be saved.”
1 Corinthians 11:1
Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.
He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble His way.
So do not be attracted by strange, new ideas. Your strength comes from God’s grace, not from rules about food, which don’t help those who follow them.
1 Corinthians 2:9
But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man. The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
1 Corinthians 3:18-20
Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness”; and again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.”
…trust in God!
