My friends, don’t try to punish anyone who does wrong to you. Wait for God to punish them with His anger. In the Scriptures the Lord says, “I am the one who punishes; I will pay people back.”
Thank You, God, that through prayer and Your Word we have the power of endurance beyond our understanding.
2 Corinthians 4:17
The little troubles we suffer now for a short time are making us ready for the great things God is going to give us forever.
Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him, but I will defend my own ways before Him.
1 Peter 5:10
But after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called us to His eternal glory through Christ Jesus, will restore, support, strengthen, and establish you.
2 Corinthians 3:4-5
We dare to say these good things about ourselves only because of our great trust in God through Christ, that He will help us to be true to what we say, and not because we think we can do anything of lasting value by ourselves. Our only power and success comes from God.
Thank You, Almighty Jehovah, for putting a song in our hearts.
He gave me reason to sing a new song, praising our God. May many see what God has done, so that they might swear allegiance to Him and trust in the Lord!
