Thank You Father for Your love that frees us from all sin, fear, and guilt. May our love for You draw us closer to You.
My lips will praise You because Your loving-kindness is better than life. So I will give honor to You as long as I live. I will lift up my hands in Your name.
2 Samuel 14:14
Like water spilled on the ground, which cannot be recovered, so we must die. But that is not what God desires; rather, He devises ways so that a banished person does not remain banished from Him.
1 Corinthians 16:13
Be careful. Hold firmly to your faith. Have courage and be strong.
We have been set apart as holy because Jesus Christ did what God wanted Him to do by sacrificing His body once and for all. Every day each priest performed his religious duty. He offered the same type of sacrifice again and again. Yet, these sacrifices could never take away sins. However, this Chief Priest made one sacrifice for sins, and this sacrifice lasts forever. Now He holds the honored position—the one next to God the Father on the heavenly throne.
God has called you to stand out and not blend in with the rest of the world! Only in Christ will you find your true identity.
1 Corinthians 15:32
Do you think I was just trying to act heroic when I fought the wild beasts at Ephesus, hoping it wouldn’t be the end of me? Not on your life! It’s resurrection, resurrection, always resurrection, that undergirds what I do and say, the way I live. If there’s no resurrection, “We eat, we drink, the next day we die,” and that’s all there is to it.
Every person the Father gives Me eventually comes running to Me. And once that person is with Me, I hold on and don’t let go.
But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.
