Luke 2: 46-47
2 Corinthians 10:5
1 Corinthians 1:20
Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?
And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ;
Heavenly Father, we thank You for setting our hearts ablaze for You through Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 4:6
It started when God said, “Light up the darkness!” and our lives filled up with light as we saw and understood God in the face of Christ, all bright and beautiful.
Watch out for people who try to dazzle you with big words and intellectual double-talk. They want to drag you off into endless arguments that never amount to anything. They spread their ideas through the empty traditions of human beings and the empty superstitions of spirit beings. But that’s not the way of Christ. Everything of God gets expressed in Him, so you can see and hear Him clearly. You don’t need a telescope, a microscope, or a horoscope to realize the fullness of Christ, and the emptiness of the universe without Him. When you come to Him, that fullness comes together for you, too. His power extends over everything.
Heavenly Father, we pray for the wisdom & heart to learn from the instruction of former generations. Show us Father how to apply the knowledge.
Ask a previous generation and verify the findings of your ancestors, for we are only recently here and don’t know because our days on earth are a shadow.
