The best protection ultimately rests in the Lord

Proverbs 18:10

The name of the Lord is a strong tower;
The righteous run to it and are safe.

A God of promise.

Luke 1:49

For He who is mighty has done great things for me,
And holy is His name.

In God you lack nothing.

1 Corinthians 1:5

For you were made rich in every way in Him, in all your speech and in every kind of knowledge—

God chooses flawed human beings for His remarkable purpose. #Church

Hebrews 3:6

But Christ, God’s faithful Son, is in complete charge of God’s house. And we Christians are God’s house—He lives in us!—if we keep up our courage firm to the end, and our joy and our trust in the Lord.

He loves you so!

Deuteronomy 7:7-8

It was not because you were greater than all other people that the Lord loved you and chose you. In fact, you were the smallest of peoples! No, it is because the Lord loved you and because He kept the solemn pledge He swore to your ancestors that the Lord brought you out with a strong hand and saved you from the house of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh, Egypt’s king.

What goes around, comes around.

Galatians 6:7-8

Don’t be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others—ignoring God!—harvests a crop of weeds. All he’ll have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God’s Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life.
