2 Corinthians 10:5
Albert Einstein, “He to whom the emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand wrapped in awe, is as good as dead; his eyes are closed.”
Sometimes I say to myself, “I will forget about Him. I will not speak anymore in His name.” But when I say that, His message is like a fire burning inside me! It feels like it is burning deep in my bones! I get tired of trying to hold His message inside. And finally, I am not able to hold it in.
Whoever is filled with hate disguises it with his speech, but inside he holds on to deceit. When he talks charmingly, do not trust him because of the seven disgusting things in his heart. His hatred is deceitfully hidden, but his wickedness will be revealed to the community.
Honesty was always rare. Diogenes, the Greek philosopher, lighted a candle in the daytime and went around looking for an honest man. Blaise Pascal said he didn’t expect to meet three honest men in a century. The Institute of Behavior Motivation found that ninety-seven out of one hundred people tell lies — and they do it about one thousand times a year.
Jesus answered him, I tell you, not up to seven times, but seventy times seven!
