Philippians 3:10

And this, so that I may know Him [experientially, becoming more thoroughly acquainted with Him, understanding the remarkable wonders of His Person more completely] and [in that same way experience] the power of His resurrection [which overflows and is active in believers], and [that I may share] the fellowship of His sufferings, by being continually conformed [inwardly into His likeness even] to His death [dying as He did];

 Pressing on for a crown of righteousness.

 If you knew what would happen, would you act differently? #TheDayOfTheLord

John 6:40

This is my Father’s will: that all who see the Son and believe in Him will have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”

Psalm 34:18

 The Lord is near to the heartbroken and He saves those who are crushed in spirit (contrite in heart, truly sorry for their sin).

 Relinquish your pain to Him.

 He is an ever present God.

Exodus 29:45-46

I will dwell among the sons of Israel and be their God. They shall know [from personal experience] and acknowledge that I am the Lord their God who brought them out of the land of Egypt so that I might dwell among them; I am the Lord their God.

#PrayerForTheWeek –  Comfort & Encouragement

Father we thank You for the comfort we have in You.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Blessed [gratefully praised and adored] be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts and encourages us in every trouble so that we will be able to comfort and encourage those who are in any kind of trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

 The problem is not that we love someone too much, but that we love God a little less.

Matthew 22:37

And Jesus replied to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
